It’s been five years since Screen Vinyl Image stopped doing shows, and I’ve spent that time working on electronic music under the name Machine Drift. Secret Wilderness is my new project tied to places I’ve traveled to and it feels like the most cohesive project I’ve done since SVI.

Low End Surrealism is a collection of beat driven songs, melodies, and my love of both Chicago House and early Detroit techno.

50% of proceeds will be donated to Grist, the environmental news outlet so I can both support journalism and spreading the word about working towards sustainable climate change solutions. grist.org

Ships with a photographic supplement newspaper that is part of this tape series.

These tracks have been recorded over the past couple of years using various setups from analog to ableton to iphone apps like Auxy.
